Delegates from Illinois HOSA – Future Health Professionals traveled to Orlando, Florida June 24 - 28 to participate in the 2014 HOSA National Leadership Conference.  Representing Illinois HOSA were 106 students participating in 35 different events.  Congratulations to the following local students for their achievements at the national level: Kacie Svornik, Lockport High School, was a 2nd round qualifier in Home Health Aide, Lauren Werth, also from Lockport High School, was a top 10 finalist placing 6th in Home Health Aide, and Erica Moyes, from Plainfield Central High School, also competing in Home Health Aide, achieved a 3rd place finish at the national competition.  
                                                              
We are so proud of our students and their hard work! Best of luck to these future healthcare professionals!
