Wilco Area Career Center receives 2023 Lincoln Aviator
Wilco Area Career Center is about to create more learning opportunities for students following the donation of a 2023 Lincoln Aviator to its auto tech program on Thursday, September 26th.
The donation is in recognition of the outstanding achievement of students, who have completed the most Automotive Career Exploration (ACE) program training modules in the state of Illinois.
Wilco Area Career Center’s Automotive team, Anthony Maccani, Kenneth Hayes, and Mike Patt received the keys from Rod Baker Ford’s General Manager, Anthony Lepore before the Fall Open House held on Thursday, September 26th at 5:00 p.m.
“This is a milestone donation for the auto students at Wilco Area Career Center,” said Automotive Instructors Mike Patt and Kenneth Hayes. “We are grateful to the Rod Baker Ford dealership and Ford Motor Company for helping ensure that our students have the industry-standards training they need to transition to careers in the automotive field successfully.”
Wilco Area Career Center’s students and staff are excited about the opportunities for hands-on learning the 2023 Lincoln Aviator will provide in the automotive lab. Additionally, the donation will provide training, which could lead to certification recognized by auto shops and help students obtain jobs in the industry.
