Fire Science Skill Enhancement

Wilco Area Career Center Fire Science student, Taryn Truppa from Plainfield South created this TikTok showcasing skill enhancements during 1st session class on Thursday, October 6th. Lt. Mark Oglesby and Lt. Mark Buettner guide these students through classroom activities essential to firefighting which include: fire chemistry, building construction, wearing protective clothing, tying knots, using fire extinguishers, carrying and raising ladders, operating self-contained breathing apparatus, and auto extrication, etc.
