CNA STUDENTS ATTEND CLINICAL SITES
As part of the Certified Nursing Assistant curriculum, students must complete 40 hours of on-site clinical experience. Nursing Instructor, Laurie Bartels, R.N. is seen here reviewing the day's skills to be accomplished. At the completion of the class, students with an 80% in class and completion of all hours required by the Illinois Dept. of Public Health, may take the state exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. This class is for seniors only. There is an adult class offered in the summer here at Wilco for those aged 16 or older that would like to become a CNA. It is an intensive 7-week program that meets the state requirements and upon completion, those students who have met all the requirements may take the state exam. If interested in the summer course, please call Wilco for more information at (815) 838-6941.
