Wilco Culinary and Early Childhood Education are proud to announce 11 students whom placed during the FCCLA's State competition in Springfield, IL on April 7-8th. Each of the students- Plainfield Central, Jad Sayegh (11) was awarded the Gold for Most Outstanding in Hospitality, Plainfield South, Megan Brzozowski (11) was awarded Gold in Frosted Cakes, Bolingbrook, Danielle Boyd (12) was awarded Silver 3rd Place for Baking and Pastry Arts, National Delegate for Illinois and $500 recurring scholarship to Johnson and Wales University, Reed-Custer HS, Violet Casas (11) was awarded Bronze for Baking and Pastry entry, Plainfield South, Elizabeth Haukohl (11) was awarded Bronze for her Baking and Pastry Arts entry, Reed-Custer HS, Ryan Radetski (11) was awarded Bronze for Culinary Arts entry, Romeoville HS, Kaylee Kasper (12) was awarded Gold for her Children's Literature entry, Bolingbrook HS, Jessenia Garcia (12) was awarded Silver for her Preschool Child Care Provider entry, Bolingbrook HS, Lauren Hrdlicka (12) was awarded Silver for her Preschool Lesson entry, Lemont, Kaitlyn Novak (11) was awarded Silver for her Preschool Lesson Plan entry, PSHS, Juliette Slusher (11) was awarded Silver for her Preschool Lesson Plan entry, Congratulations!
Plainfield Central, Jad Sayegh (11) and Bolingbrook, Danielle Boyd (12) will be competing at the National Competition in San Diego, CA for 2022 National Leadership Conference on June 29-July 3rd.
